To our beloved Cardiff Bungalows guests —
We miss you. We feel for you. We’re fed up with quarantine, too.
While the uncertainty of life right now may be taking a great toll on you and yours, one thing is for certain: a breath of fresh ocean air and the feeling of the sun shining down are sure to help.
Your health and happiness are more important now than ever.
So if we have to quarantine, it might as well be by the beach!
Here’s what life looks like right now.
Our community in Cardiff-by-the-Sea is staying positive through these times, and all your favorite local businesses are open (for takeaway!) to make sure you’re well fed and feeling loved.
Some of our beaches and trails are now reopening! Come take advantage of the warm weather and enjoy a walk along the coast, a socially-distanced swim, or a much-needed surf session!
At Moonlight Beach, all these activities are a-okay, so long as you’re keeping your 6 feet from others. Yay! Unfortunately, access to state beaches is currently still restricted, and lounging on our beaches is not allowed quite yet.
Face masks are highly encouraged (and required starting 5/1) to be worn by everyone in Cardiff, and they are an easy way for all of us to make sure we’re being conscious of our own health and the health of others!

At the Bungalows…
We want to let you know how exactly we’ve adapted our business to COVID-19.
For the time being, our cleaning fees have increased by $50.
With disruptions to supply chains and stark increases in demand, many of the cleaning products we use have doubled or even tripled in price, greatly increasing our costs.
On top of this, our cleaning crews are being more meticulous than ever, diligently cleaning each and every part of our space. It’s taking longer to do this, and they’re also being supplemented for their hard work with additional hazard pay.
Our crews are also being provided with personal protective equipment to ensure their health and safety is being taken care of, too.

We have lots of time open in our Back Bungalow and Montgomery House starting immediately, and we’d love to get you booked for a quarantine getaway! Rest assured—we have incredibly high-speed internet so WFH won’t be a problem. Please do reach out with any questions or concerns you may have, we’d love to hear from you.
